ARTISTS • MUSIC • DINING • SHOPPING
The historic downtown is known as an art-lover’s paradise. Once a month on the second Friday, the boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and stores band together and celebrate with featured artists, live music and shopping specials. A fine selection of art is available for viewing and for sale. Weather permitting there is a concert at the Carolyn Schutte Downtown Pocket Park and pop-up shops in the parking lot on Broadway. Murals created by artist Jacob Duncan are created on several downtown buildings. See a show at Slightly Off Broadway Theatre or go for a Chamber Trolley Tour — there is plenty to do during Second Fridays!
