Ray’s Diner

The iconic Ray’s Diner is a local favorite eating spot — known as much for patrons gathering to share news and views of Excelsior Springs as it is for its cheeseburgers, chili and fries. The small restaurant, established in 1932, plays big on history. Visitors delight in the historic photos, local historic newspaper pages under the glass counter top, and retro decor.

Diner serving traditional American breakfast and lunch since the 1940’s. We continue to serve Ray Miller’s original chili and hamburger recipe with his cast iron flat top. Tenderloins and catfish are handbreaded and cinnamon rolls are baked daily.

Family owned and operated. Outdoor seating available. Located in the heart of downtown near the Hall of Waters, shopping and museum.
