Do I Have To Be 21 To Attend The Event?
Yes. People under the age of 21 are NOT allowed into the Home Brew Contest.
What Happens If It Rains?
This Home Brew Contest will occur rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.

Do Designated Drivers Get In For Free?
YES! Designated drivers are welcome, and do not need to purchase a ticket.
What Is Included In The Standard Tasting Ticket?
Access to the event from NOON to 4:00 PM, unlimited home brew samples and a souvenir 5 ounce tasting glass.
What Is Included In The V.I.P. Tasting Ticket?
EARLY ACCESS to the event beginning at 11:00 AM, unlimited home brew samples and souvenir 13 ounce tasting glass.
What is Included in the V.I.P. + BBQ Tasting Ticket?
EARLY ACCESS to the event beginning at 11:00 AM, unlimited home brew samples, a souvenir 13 ounce tasting glass and a competition style burnt ends BBQ lunch.
Can I Get A Refund?
No. Ticket transfers can be made up until 48 hours before the event.
What Happens If I Break My Tasting Glass?
Replacement Glasses Are Available For $7.
What Time Can I Begin Sampling?
It depends on what kind of ticket you purchased. V.I.P. + BBQ & V.I.P Ticket Holders can begin sampling at 11:00 AM. Everyone else must wait until NOON.
Where Do I Park?
We encourage using public parking located on Thompson Avenue, South Street and the West section of Broadway that is not a part of the festival grounds.
Can I Bring My Own Food And Water?
Sure! We will have food and water available to purchase, but feel free to bring your own.
Can We Bring Our Pet?
We all love our pets and like to take them places, but for everyone’s safety, we cannot allow pets.
Will There Be Gluten Free Beers Or Ciders There?
Maybe! Make sure to keep checking out The Brews on the event website to see what beers will be served. The selection will grow as additional home brewers register for the event.
You Said This Is A Non-Profit Event. Where Does The Money Raised Go?
The event raises money to support the Downtown Excelsior Partnership, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Funds from the festival supporter free to the community events and promotions of the downtown district.
Can I Bring A Law Chair?
Yes!
Can I Bring A Tailgating Tent?
No. Unfortunately, it gets too crowded.
Will The Beer Run Out?
Probably. Some popular brews will run out. We cannot guarantee that all beers will still be available in the later event hours.
