A Department within the City of Excelsior Springs offering several parks, miles of trails, a variety of recreational programs, and a community center with unique offerings for ALL.
The Excelsior Springs Community Center is the newest fitness, recreation and swimming facility in the region. In addition to membership packages for area residents, the Center offers day passes to those who are visiting the community while guests of a resident or staying at one of our lodging venues.
Our 50,000 square foot facility includes a zero-entry family pool with water features, 3-lane swimming pool, 3-story water slide and 11-person spa. A group exercise/spin studio with a Fitness on Demand system and state-of-the-art exercise and strength training equipment is available. An elevated track overlooks full-sized basketball/volleyball court. A small racquetball court is also available. Our outdoor swimming pool features diving board and climbing wall.
The Wellness Café is located in the lobby and open to the public with no membership required. The cafe serves breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, and delicious home-baked items.
Child care services are available. Community rooms and party rooms are available for rent.
