Home Brewer Registration
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 17th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Downtown Excelsior Springs in conjunction with the 24th Annual BBQ & Fly-In on the River KCBS Competition.
This is a People’s Choice tasting event with 350 tasting tickets available for purchase. We will also have Brewer’s Choice Awards and a Best of Show Category!
A NEW CATEGORY, The Wheat Contest, is being launched! You brew it, we’ll judge it! Anything goes!
Winners in all categories will take home a custom tap handle! And the People’s Choice winner will take home a Corny Keg sponsored by Atlas Saloon Brewery! Please know, this is a “Just For The Fun Of It” event and is not sanctioned.
All participating Home Brewers will receive complimentary award-winning BBQ and 2 Home Brew Contest Tasting Tickets & Glasses. Awards will be announced under the main stage with the 24th Annual BBQ & Fly-In on the River Awards.
There is no fee to participate! This Home Brew Competition is open to all amateur adult home brewers and open to all styles and sub-styles of beer.
