RACE FEES

Registration is capped at 500 entries.

RACE REGISTRATION WILL INCLUDE:

• A course like no other

• Chip timing/bib

• Bella Canvas Race T-shirt

• Finish line snacks and beer token

• Free, downloadable race photos (photos of all riders are not guaranteed)

• Water stops/aid stations

• Custom bolo tie for finishers

• Cash prizes for Overall Podium

• Awards

  • Top 3 in overall/age categories

  • 1st in tandem

  • 1st in single speed

• Swag prizes randomly selected

• Drop bag service for the long course

TRANSFERS

We understand that best laid plans may change. For this reason, registrations may be transferred to another rider for free. If you are unable to ride we would rather someone else be able to ride in your place.

Transfer Instructions:
Go to: https://www.bikereg.com/opal-wapoo-gravel-grinder 1. Click “Location and Contact”
below the event name on the registration page, then “Contact us” and on that page, you’ll see a
link you can click to have a transfer/edit link emailed to you. Once you submit your email
address there, you’ll be sent a link you can use to edit or transfer your entry.

REFUNDS

No refunds will be issued for any reason.  While the Opal Wapoo Gravel Grinder is a rain or shine event, Race Organizers reserve the right to alter the course and/or postpone or reschedule the race if certain inclement weather conditions prohibit the race from being held.  If the race is canceled for reasons beyond our control, we are unable to refund money due to the investment already made in organization, vendors and infrastructure. 

DEFFERALS

We do not allow for deferrals to a following year if you are unable to attend. Although we would love to make this a possibility, it simply creates an unknown factor that is impossible to budget for or predict. Most of the funds allocated to producing the event are paid in advance of the race and cannot be carried over.
