What, When and Where is the Wine Festival?
The Downtown Excelsior Springs Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, June 8th in Downtown Excelsior Springs, Missouri. This event is one of Missouri’s largest wine festivals, featuring wineries who sample over 80 Missouri Wines!
How Much Is Admission To The Festival?
There are several different ticket options for this event.
General Admission – $10 (3:00 PM-8:00 PM)
Standard Tasting Ticket (3:00 PM-8:00 PM) – $45 Before & $55 Day of Event
V.I.P. Tasting Ticket (2:00 PM-8:00 PM) – $55 Before & $65 Day of Event
Do You Have To Be 21 To Enter?
Yes. All event attendees must be 21 years of age or older. We encourage all event attendees to bring proper identification as they will be carded upon check in at the event.
What Is Included In A Sampling Ticket?
Sampling tickets include access to the wine festival grounds, free and unlimited samples of wine from all participating wineries, a souvenir tasting glass, and live entertainment.
Can I Purchase Tickets The Day Of The Event?
Maybe. If there are still tickets available, they may be purchased at the gate. Check on ticket availability as this event sells out at 2,000.
Is There A Designated Driver Ticket?
Yes. We are proud of you for securing a designated driver for this event! There is a $10 Non-Drinker General Admission Ticket.
Can I Bring My Own Food & Drink?
No. Outside food and drink is NOT permitted in the festival grounds. No coolers are permitted either. Attendees may bring a sealed bottle of water with them into the event.
Will There Be Food Available at the Event?
Yes. Some vendors may provide small snacks at no charge and there will be food vendors available at the event. Additionally, we encourage everyone to enjoy lunch before or dinner after the festival at one of our many downtown dining establishments that can be viewed here.
What Can I Bring Into The Event?
Chairs and blankets are permitted in the festival grounds. Attendees may also bring wagons to assist in carrying out their wine bottle purchases. Wine bags will also be available for purchase at the entrance gate.
What Items Are Not Allowed Into The Festival Grounds?
Items that are NOT allowed in the festival grounds include backpacks, coolers, outside food and drink, tents, strollers and pets.
What Happens If I Bought A Ticket And Can’t Attend?

Can I Leave The Event & Re-Enter?
Yes. Please go support our Downtown Excelsior Springs Small Businesses! Please know, open alcohol is not permitted to enter or exit the festival grounds.
Where Do I Pick Up The Tickets I Purchased?
You will check in at the main entrance the day of the event. You will receive your confirmation email, QR Code, and downloadable PDF. There will be a line for those who purchased tickets in advance.
Will The Wine Run Out?
Yes. Some popular wines will run out. We cannot guarantee they will be available later in the festival hours.
How Late Can I Stay At The Festival?
The event concludes at 8:00 PM and attendees are expected to leave at that time.
Can I Bring My Pet?
No. Sorry. Pets are not allowed at the wine festival.
Is There Uber Or Lyft?
There are a handful of local Uber and Lyft drivers, however we do not recommend depending on these options. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and secure a designated driver for the event.
Where Do I Park?
We encourage all ticket holders to park in one of the public parking lots located in Downtown Excelsior Springs or secure street side parking.
Can I Get A Discounted Price For Large Groups?
No. Ticket price remains the same regardless of group size.
Is The Event Handicap Accessible?
Yes. The event is hosted on a public street so the groups are level. There is also an ADA portable restroom in the festival grounds.

Can I Be An Event Volunteer?
Yes. Volunteers are welcome, but space is limited. Those that volunteer will receive free admission to the festival. Contact exec@visitesprings.com for additional information and sign up form.
