Grab the kids and join us for a fun day of Christmas crafting at Lewis Elementary! The Elf Factory provides the option of 18-22 different crafts beginning at 50 cents a piece and ranging to $6 a piece while supplies last! You’re sure to take home some wonderful treasures!

New this year, the Downtown Excelsior Partnership has worked hard to fundraise and light the rooftops of Downtown Excelsior Springs this Christmas Season! Join us at 6:00 PM to see Downtown Get Lit! Downtown Christmas Kick Off & Mayor’s Tree Lighting

In coordination with the rooftop Lighting Ceremony, we will also be kicking Christmas off with the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting in the courtyard of the Hall of Waters! This really is the most magical time of the year and you don’t want to miss it!

Stick around after the lighting ceremony to enjoy Excelsior Springs biggest and best parade, the Lighted Christmas Parade! You’ll see various groups and organizations band together and light up the streets of downtown with their float entries!

Grand Opening Following The Lighted Parade
Located around the Hall of Waters water bar, over 30 Christmas trees are uniquely decorated by community businesses and civic groups. The trees are on display from Kick Off Night through December 31st. But you definitely want to be there on opening night to enjoy the complimentary cookies too!

Grand Opening Following The Lighted Parade
Enjoy the lighted drive-through holiday display in East Valley Park on Lover’s Lane! This is the perfect destination on cold winter nights to start an evening out or top off the night and family get-together. Each night a different group hosts the Lane of Lights to raise money for their cause. We suggest a $5 donation per car, check out the schedule below and pick what nights you want to come through!

Are you ready to tour the homes of 5 local residents as they open their homes to the public for a tour of their festive holiday decorations??? This opportunity allows you to view the beauty of Christmas and get inspiration for your own holiday décor! Tickets are $15 per person and available online by clicking here or at the Hall of Waters Visitor Center. We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance to ensure we still have tickets available. All aboard the Polar Express!!! Join us at the Hall of Waters as we sponsor FREE pictures with Santa and FREE Polar Express rides through the Lane of Lights! This event is a partnership between the Downtown Excelsior Partnership, Inc. and the Chamber of Commerce sponsoring the free trolley rides. Hurry, don’t be late! Santa’s on a tight schedule and must depart the building at 7:30 PM!
