11th Annual Wine Festival
A Wine Lover’s Dream Come True
The 2017 Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, June 17th from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. The festival is sponsored by the Downtown Excelsior Partnership, as well as many other local area businesses! Whether you are a seasoned wine connoisseur or still figuring out the difference between chardonnay and champagne, the Excelsior Springs Wine Festival is for you! This traditional event places the wines of Missouri on display in the beautiful outdoor setting of Lover’s Lane in East Valley Park. Festival attendees have an opportunity to sample varieties of local wine from 14 different Missouri wineries, learn wine-making methods and speak directly with the winery owners who have made Missouri famous in the American wine market. An assortment of local bands provide the background music and keep the festival lively. The festival also features fine art and craft vendors who add to the air of refinement and class. Waterfest
Back on Broadway
Celebrating its 36th year, the Chamber’s Annual Waterfest celebrates the city’s mineral water heritage. This year the three-day event moves back to Broadway and will feature arts/crafts and commercial vendors, live entertainment, and water inflatables for the kids, classic car show, donut eating contest, pancake breakfast and parade. Waterfest has great food, wine and beer garden, amateur singing contest, fireworks, and historic trolley tours of Excelsior Springs. Highlights of this year’s event include Royal’s Hall of Famer, Frank White, as our parade Grand Marshall, meet and greet with Mermaid Kishiko, live chainsaw carving demonstrations by Eagle Ridge Saw Works, and a bigger and better FIREWORKS Spectacular Saturday night. Culinary Trolley Tours
Farm to Table Fresh!
Join the Chamber for an all-inclusive culinary experience aboard the Excelsior Springs Chamber Trolley! Your adventure begins in Downtown Excelsior Springs at Ventana Gourmet Grill. Then you’ll hop aboard the trolley and head out to Elements Destination Restaurant. From there, you will return to downtown to experience more culinary fare from the 88 Restaurant at the Elms Hotel and Spa. Each stop will include a delightful paring of food and drink. The featured menu will be different for each tour so you’ll have a truly unique dining experience every time! Tickets are $99 per person and include, culinary small plates at each stop paired with an adult beverage and transportation aboard the trolley.
